Exploring the "Island In The Sun" ☀ aka Anna Maria Island

    Pristine Anna Maria Island with its beautiful turquoise waters and white sandy beaches is seven miles long and consists of 3 cities; Bradenton Beach with a population of 2000, Holmes Beach with a population of just over 5,000, and Anna Maria's population of just over 1800. This barrier island is the perfect get away for visitors offering something for everyone, from restaurants, historical sights, a free trolley ride of the island, and quaint cottages by the sea to deluxe suites for accommendations. Old Florida charm can still be found here just ask any resident. There are families, singles and retirees all living on the island. There is an elementary school, child care facilities, music and nightlife, private golf clubs, wild life preserve, and more to enjoy if you are lucky enough to call Anna Maria Island home.
